The dreamy wedding photographs saw Rashmika Mandanna drape a rust, red and gold embroidered saree which complemented Vijay’s white dhoti paired with a red shawl.
Vijay’s red angavastram was tied to Rashmika’s pallu that beautifully mirrored their bond and journey as a couple. The gold jewellery added regal opulence to Rashmika and Vijay wedding look.
The wedding ceremony began with traditional Telugu Hindu rituals, paying homage to Vijay’s heritage. The couple adorned ensembles that were crafted in tradition which also complemented their individual style quotient.
Rooted in the textile legacy of Hyderabad, Vijay’s ensemble draws from the strength of the Vanasingaram weave. An ivory dhoti silhouette is paired with a striking vermillion angavastram, intricately embroidered with forest and temple-inspired motifs; symbols of power, lineage, and sacred architecture. Structured yet fluid, the look embodies Deccan masculinity – bold, grounded, and timeless.
Rashmika is draped in a rich rust saree framed with a striking red border, celebrating sacred artistry. Temple-house motifs are intricately embroidered across the drape, echoing carved sanctums and spiritual geometry. Detailed hand embroidery in antique gold lends depth and luminosity, transforming the saree into a canvas of devotion and craftsmanship. Regal yet graceful, the ensemble reflects feminine strength rooted in tradition.
For the second wedding ceremony, Rashmika’s roots were honoured with the Kodava ceremony. News18 learnt that the saree Rashmika draped for this ceremony was gifted by Vijay’s mother, Madhavi Deverakonda.

In a heartfelt announcement, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna revealed that their wedding would officially be known as ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. They stated that the name was not inspired by wedding planners or family traditions, but by their fans, who years ago lovingly merged their names to create ‘VIROSH’.
They wrote, “Our dearest loves, before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today, with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to call it ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us, always. Biggest hugs and full love!”
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Devrakonda’s intimate wedding celebrations were attended by close family and friends including director Sandeep Vanga Reddy, actor Kalyani Priyadarshan, director-actor Tharun Bhascker, Eesha Rebba, and stylist Shravya Varma among others.
