Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio experienced an unexpected security check outside an exclusive private party in Ibiza earlier this month. The 50-year-old Oscar winner, accompanied by his girlfriend, Italian
model Vittoria Ceretti, and a small group of friends, was stopped and searched by Spanish police before being allowed entry.
Footage obtained by the Daily Mail shows officers inspecting DiCaprio’s pockets as part of a standard security procedure. DiCaprio, without his usual cap or face covering, complied with instructions while Ceretti, believed to be the woman in the video, can be heard saying, “They are searching me full on right now.”
Eyewitnesses reported that DiCaprio eventually had to introduce himself to the police and present identification before the group was cleared to enter the event.
The party, held at a private Ibiza villa, was hosted by tequila brand Patrón and Spanish actor-singer Aron Piper. Alongside DiCaprio and Ceretti, attendees included model Kendall Jenner and DiCaprio’s longtime friend and fellow actor Tobey Maguire.
Meanwhile, rapper Travis Scott was reportedly denied entry that same evening.
A source told the Daily Mail, “Stars are just like us, Leo was one of many famous faces at the event. Even he gets doubted at the door. The police did a double take when Leo checked in. He was kind and joking with them.”
DiCaprio and Ceretti reportedly met at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival during the premiere of Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. Since then, the couple has been spotted together in various settings, including a double date earlier this month with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez aboard Bezos’s $500 million superyacht off the coast of Ibiza.
Ceretti, who was previously married to Italian DJ Matteo Milleri, has occasionally been photographed wearing a ring on her wedding finger. Sources, however, insist that the couple is not engaged.
