The controversy involving Diljit Dosanjh
Diljit Dosanjh was at the receiving end of flak and boycott calls after his film, Sardaar Ji 3, with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir skipped release in India, but hit the overseas market. Petitions and letters were sent to the makers of Border 2 urging them to drop him from the cast. The matter was eventually settled after the producers informed film bodies that over half of the movie had already been shot, and replacing him at this stage would lead to significant financial losses with the project nearing completion. Meanwhile, fresh reports suggest that the Punjabi singer has also signed on for the No Entry sequel, showing little concern over the ongoing calls for a Bollywood ban.
