Ranveer Singh Recreates Sanjay Dutt’s Dialogue At Dhurandhar Trailer Launch
At Dhurandhar trailer launch event, Ranveer Singh heaped praise at his co-star Sanjay Dutt. He said, “It’s a massive deal for me to be in a movie with Sanjay Dutt. He has been one of my screen idols since childhood, one of the major motion picture heroes from the 90s. Copied his style and watched all his movies from a young age. And now to be in a movie with him is extremely special.” Since he mentioned copying Sanjay Dutt’s style, director Aditya Dhar asked him to mimic the actor. Ranveer laughed, and said that the dialogue will go viral. He then flawlessly recreated Sanjay Dutt’s iconic delivery and nailed the dialogue from the film. Check out the video below!

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna could not attend the grand trailer launch of Dhurandhar. Speaking about their absence, co-star Arjun Rampal shared, “Sanjay sir and Akshaye couldn’t be here today as they didn’t get their visas on time. They were really looking forward to joining us for the launch, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out.”
Sanjay Dutt plays the character S P Chaudhary Aslam in Dhurandhar. He is deadly, highly provocative, and completely rooted in the grey. Dutt plays a character who brings cold, controlling intensity to the film’s dark angle.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram earlier today to share the poster of his character from Dhurandhar. He introduced his character as the ‘Wrath of God’. Speaking about the film, he said, “We wanted to create a feature presentation that’s at par with any film in the world. Our attempt was to level up in every aspect of the cinematic process to create a film that we as Indians can be proud of. Its raw, its gritty and is unapologetically Indian. Aditya has pitched it perfectly.”
The film releases in theatres on December 5, 2025.
