Indian BTS ARMY may be closer than ever to witnessing history. On December 27, a seemingly casual moment during a Weverse live by BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, sent fans across India into a frenzy. What
began as a warm greeting quickly turned into a line that many believe could change everything for Indian ARMY.
Did V Just Hint At An India Concert?
During his interaction with fans, V greeted viewers with a cheerful “Namaste” before dropping the now-viral line: “Namaste, namaste Indian ARMY. See you next year!”

Though the singer stopped short of making an official announcement, the phrasing was enough to ignite intense speculation. For Indian fans who have waited years for BTS to perform live in the country, the statement felt like more than just a friendly sign-off—it felt like a promise.
Indian ARMY Reacts With Shock And Emotion
The response online was immediate and overwhelming. X (formerly Twitter) and other social platforms were flooded with emotional reactions. One fan wrote, “Wowww this is true. God himself confirmed.” Another exclaimed, “OMG CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST HEARD!!!!” while many others shared posts about finally seeing their long-held dream of watching BTS live inch closer to reality.

For Indian ARMY, who have consistently supported the group without ever getting a home-country concert, the moment felt deeply personal and long overdue.
BTS World Tour 2026 Buzz Intensifies
The excitement ties into a larger picture. 2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for BTS. All seven members—Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook—completed their mandatory military service by June 2025. The group is widely expected to release a new album, followed by a global world tour.

According to South Korean media outlet Naver, the tour could run from May to December 2026, featuring nearly 65 shows worldwide and drawing close to four million fans. Reports suggest that individual concerts could host over 60,000 attendees each.
Why An India Stop Feels More Real Than Ever
Fueling the speculation further is HYBE’s growing focus on India. In September 2025, BTS’ agency officially launched HYBE INDIA in Mumbai, signalling a serious push into the Indian market.
"#BTS's world tour 2026 is expected to span 8 months, from May to December next year, with 65 performances and an audience of 4 million people. The average number of attendees per performance is expected to remain at around 60K".

Notably, BTS had reportedly planned a Mumbai stop during their now-cancelled 2020 tour. With India’s massive fanbase, HYBE’s local presence, and V’s recent comment, many believe that an India concert in 2026 is no longer wishful thinking—though fans are still awaiting an official confirmation.
For now, Indian ARMY is holding on to those three words: “See you next year.”
