Cheekatilo Trailer Out
Set against a rapidly evolving Hyderabad, Cheekatilo follows Sandhya, a criminology graduate and true-crime podcaster played by Sobhita Dhulipala. What begins as an investigative podcast soon spirals into a dangerous pursuit when a shocking murder uncovers clues linked to a serial killer whose crimes date back nearly two decades. As Sandhya uses her podcast as a weapon to provoke and expose the truth, the narrative turns into a tense game of cat and mouse, blurring the lines between hunter and hunted. The trailer teases a nerve-racking journey filled with buried secrets, emotional reckonings, and the constant threat of violence, raising the central question: will Sandhya succeed in unmasking the killer, or will she become his next target?
Cast and Creative Team
Directed by Sharan Kopishetty and produced by D. Suresh Babu under the banner of Suresh Productions, Cheekatilo is written by Chandra Pemmaraju and Sharan Kopishetty. The film stars Viswadev Rachakonda in a key role alongside an ensemble cast that includes Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Aamani, and Vadlamani Srinivas.

The film revolves around a security officer Shankara Vara Prasad (played by Chiranjeevi), who is assigned to safeguard his estranged wife and their children from a revenge-driven former cop. The protagonist finds himself facing more than just danger. The tense mission becomes an unexpected opportunity to mend broken ties and reconnect as a family after six years of separation.
Other than Chiranjeevi, the Anil Ravipudi directorial also stars Nayanthara as Sasirekha, Venkatesh as Venky Gowda and Catherine Tresa, Zarina Wahab, Harsh Vardhan, Abhinav Gomatam, and others in key roles.
