Mohammad Nawaz helped Tilak join Arshdeep Singh in an elite list of Indian bowlers. The Hyderabad-born cricketer becomes only the second Indian bowler after Arshdeep to take a wicket on the first ball bowled in T20 World Cups.
Arshdeep played his first T20 World Cup match for India on October 23, 2022, in Melbourne against Pakistan, and on the first ball of his first over, trapped Babar Azam in front of the wickets.
