An incident at an Indian wedding polarised opinions over the internet as people felt bad for a kid, who started crying after someone took a piece of rasgulla from his plate and ate it. In the video shared
online, one could see this man uninvitedly grabbed the rasgulla and eat it while the kid watched in disbelief and felt crushed inside. The innocent child began tearing up immediately.
The video appeared funny to some but also objectionable to a section of social media users after they found it disrespectful towards the little child, especially as other guests at the wedding started laughing. People lambasted these adults, saying they failed the kid miserably.
Kid Feels Dejected After The Incident
What seemed like a laughable incident at the beginning turned out to be a sombre moment for the child. Even the kid would’ve known he could’ve just taken another rasgulla and ate it. But what he felt seriously miffed over was the laughter that followed at his expense. Nobody around stopped the man or told him that it was wrong on his part to do such nuisance to a child.

One felt really bad for the child after his eyes welled up. His bemused and disgusted face told a story worth a thousand words. The child was so shocked by the sudden loss of his favourite delicacy and others mocking his misery that he immediately cried.
‘He’s Not Crying For The Rasgulla’
As the video of the child’s sad reaction gained traction online, people expressed their displeasure with the man stealing the rasgulla in the comments section. Objections were also raised about others watching and mock laughing in the moment.
“He’s not crying about a rasgulla. He is crying because a group of adults are filming and making fun of him at his expense,” wrote a user.
Someone else said, “It’s not funny at all. Grown men behaving so immaturely.”
“All adults there failed that little child miserably. They don’t know it,” mentioned an individual.
It was indeed sad to see the innocent little child crying after someone stole that rasgulla away. The incident wasn’t really about the rasgulla, but the child being made to feel helpless and getting mocked by others.
