Actors Kajol and Twinkle Khanna have landed in controversy following the latest episode of their Amazon Prime talk show, Two Much. The episode, which also featured Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor, began
as a light-hearted conversation but quickly drew backlash after a segment on infidelity triggered heated debate across social media.
During the This or That segment, Twinkle asked whether love was enough for marriage or if compatibility was more important. While she and Janhvi argued in favour of love, Kajol disagreed, stressing that relationships can’t survive without compatibility. However, the discussion soon took a controversial turn when Twinkle brought up the topic of emotional versus physical infidelity.
‘Raat Gayi, Baat Gayi’: Twinkle’s Comment Stirs Debate
When asked whether emotional infidelity was worse than physical, Janhvi maintained that both are unacceptable and that physical cheating would be a deal breaker. Twinkle, however, playfully brushed off the question, saying, “Raat gayi baat gayi.” Kajol seemed to echo her sentiment, suggesting a more forgiving stance on physical infidelity.
The clip soon found its way to Reddit, where users expressed disappointment over the duo’s comments. Many accused them of “normalising cheating” and “justifying their husbands’ actions.” One user wrote, “They are just openly acknowledging the deeds of their husbands,” while another commented, “So sad that they’ve been cheated on so much that they’ve accepted it as part of their happy marriage.”
A third user added, “How pathetic that Twinkle and Kajol have had to tell themselves physical infidelity is okay to deal with their husbands cheating over the years.” Another fan sided with Janhvi, saying, “I hope JK maintains that stance throughout her life, her relationship seems solid.”
The episode also featured a playful challenge from Janhvi to Karan Johar, asking him to share a scandalous truth and a lie so she could guess which was which. In his trademark candid style, Karan revealed, “I lost my virginity when I was 26 years old, and I’ve been intimately involved with a member of your family.”
