Salman Khan Addresses Uttarakhand Floods in Bigg Boss 19
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, Salman Khan was seen reminding his Bigg Boss family of the recent devastating cloudburst in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. “Yeh jo farmers hamare liye jo khaana ugate hai, aaj unke pass anaj nahi hai khan eke liye, unke pass ghar nahi hai. Bahut hi bura haal ho chuka hai,” Salman reminded. “Yeh jo community hai yeh jaane jate hai langar ke liye, social services ke liye, selflessness ke liye…aab unpar aafat aayi hai aur hum saabka farz banta hai unke liye kuch kare,” he added.
The superstar further called on everyone to support and contribute to the relief efforts for the affected people of the natural disaster-affected states, stressing that “Every bit of help matters.” Salman Khan’s words served as a powerful reminder that Bigg Boss’ platform extends beyond entertainment, aiming to highlight real issues that demand empathy and action.

Salman Khan stressed the issue after he noticed the huge amount of food wastage inside the house. The actor expressed his disappointment over the contestants’ careless attitude towards food and particularly called out Farrhana for wasting even a single spoon of poha.
What Happened in Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar?
Besides taking a stand for the flood victims of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, and urging the contestants to come forward and do their bit, the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode also introduced unexpected twists. Bigg Boss 13 star Shehnaaz Gill appeared on the episode as a guest and requested Salman Khan to let her brother, Shehbaz Badesha, enter the house, and thus, Salman announced the first wild card entry of Bigg Boss 19 – Shehbaz Badesha.
Additionally, Awez, Neelam, Tanya, Pranit, Amaal, Mridul, and Kunickaa were given an app where they can get some access. But Kunicka was given access and was given a choice where either she could save herself from the eviction, or she could ignore all the work inside the house. When Kunickaa chose to save herself from the eviction, Salman revealed that Kunickaa was the evicted contestant, and by using the option, she was able to save herself.
