The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued admit cards for the September 2024 Chartered Accountancy (CA) Foundation exam. Candidates who have registered for the September 2025 CA exam can
now download their admit cards from the ICAI official website, icai.org. To access and download their ICAI CA Foundation admit card, candidates need to use their registration number and date of birth as the password.
This year, the exam will be held on September 16, 18, 20, and 22. Paper 1 or Principle and Practice of Accounting will be held on September 16, 2025. Paper 2 or Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting will take place on September 18, 2025. Paper 3 or Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics will be conducted on September 20, 2025 and Paper 4 or Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge will take place on September 22.

Step 1: Visit eservices.icai.org or icai.org, the official website.
Step 2: Click on the ‘ICAI CA Foundation September admit card 2025’ link on the homepage.
Step 3: You will be directed to the login page.
Step 4: Enter your date of birth and registration number as the password.
Step 5: Your ICAI CA Foundation admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and save it for exam purposes.

ICAI CA Foundation 2025: Exam Pattern
The ICAI CA Foundation exam includes four question papers. Paper I covers ‘Principles and Practice of Accounting’, and Paper 2 includes ‘Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting’. Both of these papers are subjective. Paper 3 features ‘Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics’, while Paper 4 includes ‘Business Economics’ and ‘Business and Commercial Knowledge’. Papers 3 and 4 are objective. Each paper is worth 100 marks, making a total of 400 marks.
