According to a report in BoxOfficeWorldwide, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is likely to announce Kick 2 on Salman Khan’s birthday. When Kick 2 photoshoot was shared
In 2024, Sajid Nadiadwala had confirmed Salman Khan’s Kick 2. The producer shared an image from Salman’s photo shoot for the film. This shoot was conducted while Salman was already filming Sikander with Rashmika Mandanna. Sajid took to the microblogging site, X, and wrote, “It was a great Kick 2 photo shoot Sikandar….!!! From Grand Sajid Nadiadwala.” In the image, Salman had his back towards the camera. The actor looked in a black ganji. He stood in front of several cars.
It was earlier reported that Sajid Nadiadwala is planning for a 2025 shoot. A report published in Mid-Day said, “He will have to figure out the timelines because he is also overseeing several productions under his banner. He wants to ensure the smooth functioning of the productions in order to dedicate his entire time to directing Kick 2″. It was also revealed that Sajid, who is currently backing Salman Khan starrer Sikandar, has already started a discussion about taking the story of Devil forward. The actor-filmmaker duo who share a great bond of friendship are “excited” about the collaboration on Kick 2, claimed the source.
Sajid had earlier mentioned that he wanted to make a sequel to Kick. “I launched myself as a director with Kick and that’s my favourite IP. The moment I speak about Kick, I get messages from the industry and even the digital world is flooded with questions about when Kick 2 will go on floors. Now, I promise that there will be an extension to Kick. The subject is there on paper, it’s completely written but needs time. We need a bigger scale and a better time for its release. We need to have cinema consumption back in fashion for us to make Kick. Once we are back to normal, I will be ready to take Kick 2 on floors,” Sajid told Pinkvilla.
