In videos and pictures which surfaced on Instagram straight from the glittering event in Riyadh, we can spot the actor flaunting his ultra-rare watch with his stylish all-black ensemble. The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Sapphire is a newly launched off-catalogue piece from Watches and Wonders 2025, reserved only for Rolex’s top VVIP clients and not part of its regular retail lineup.
The timeless piece is crafted in 18-carat white gold and features a 40mm 18-carat white gold case and Oyster bracelet. It has an obsidian dial which shifts tone under different lighting, alongside the sapphire-set bezel, making it the most striking detail. Made of 36 carefully colour-coordinated baguette-cut sapphires, 54 brilliant-cut diamonds, and a silver obsidian dial that subtly shifts colour under changing light, the watch radiates a perfect opulent finish.
Coming to its hefty price tag, since the watch is not yet listed on Rolex’s official website. According to the official website of Wrist Afficionado, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Sapphire is priced at an estimated $1,525,000, which, upon converting to Indian currency, amounts to Rs 13,97,73,570 (Rs 13 crore). Only a handful of these pieces exist globally, making them museum-grade collectables.
