BTS is once again proving that their popularity remains unmatched as they gear up to make their return to the music scene. The septet is all set to make their much-awaited comeback with a new album and
a massive world tour this year. If anyone doubted their global pull following almost 4 years of hiatus, the record-breaking ticket sales for their 2026 BTS WORLD TOUR: ARIRANG have proved them wrong.
On Tuesday, January 27, BTS’ agency, BigHit Music, announced that the tour is officially sold out across North America and Europe. Tickets for both pre-sale and general sale for all 41 shows across the two regions were snapped up within hours, once again proving the septet’s global dominance and the overwhelming demand from fans worldwide.
BTS Will Begin Their Arirang World Tour In April
BTS is set to release their new album, ARIRANG, on March 20, marking their first full-length album since Proof (2022). Following the release, the seven members— RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook— will begin promotional activities before kicking off their highly anticipated world tour. Set to be the largest world tour by a K-pop artist, the group will mark the beginning of their tour on April 9 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. Following two more shows at the same stadium, they will then travel to Tokyo for two concerts.
On April 25, the North American leg of their tour will begin with three shows in Tampa, followed by two in El Paso, three in Mexico City, three in Stanford, and four in Las Vegas. The tour is said to feature a 360-degree stage design that will allow audiences to experience the performance from every angle.
Additional Shows Added To BTS’ Arirang World Tour
Later, in June, BTS will return to their home country to celebrate their 13th debut anniversary. They will be performing shows in Busan before beginning their European leg with two shows in Madrid, Spain. They will then perform in Brussels, London, Munich, and Paris. Following this, they will return to North America on August 1, performing in cities like East Rutherford, Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Due to the massive demand for their shows, additional concerts were added in Tampa, Stanford, and Las Vegas.
Before the agency released the list of cities where BTS will be performing, there were speculations that the septet might perform in India. But fans were disappointed when the tour was announced, as it did not include any Indian cities. Whether they will add any other shows to the existing ones list is yet to be seen.
