The paid preview for Dhurandhar 2 was held on Wednesday, March 18, and social media is now flooded with early reactions to the film. Many actors from Indian cinema made sure not to miss the film, and these
names also include Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan. Both actors then took to Instagram to share their reviews of the film.
Ananya Panday shared on her Instagram Story, “Blown away, Aditya Dhar! Beast, Ranveer Singh!” Kartik Aaryan wrote, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge is top-notch. Aditya Dhar has created an unforgettable cinematic experience, and Ranveer Singh delivers a storm. A must watch!” Have a look here:
Interestingly, the glorious reviews come after Ananya and Kartik’s film, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, was overshadowed by Dhurandhar in December 2025. Although their film was released after a 20-day window, Ranveer Singh’s film dominated the box office, proving to be one of the highest grossing Hindi films of all time. Now, all eyes are on Dhurandhar 2 to shatter the records of the first film of the franchise.
Dhurandhar 2 Review
Meanwhile, News18 Showsha gave the Dhurandhar: The Revenge a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 stars. Part of our review read, “As far as performances are concerned, the soul of Dhurandhar 2 lies firmly with Ranveer Singh, who delivers an absolutely outstanding act. He is undeniably the star of the film, carrying the narrative on his shoulders with remarkable ease and conviction. From the very first scene, Ranveer Singh commands attention with an intense screen presence that is hard to look away from.”
“Overall, despite its scale and ambition, Dhurandhar 2 feels slightly weaker in comparison to the original film, which was released in December 2025. While the sequel amps up action and visual spectacle, it misses the tighter storytelling that made the first film a blockbuster. Certain subplots, like the underdeveloped romance and limited use of key characters, dilute its impact. The pacing also feels uneven, with portions that could have been skipped. Even some thematic elements appear forced, making the narrative less organic. As a result, despite its highs, the sequel doesn’t quite match the original’s overall effectiveness,” our review also mentioned.
