The first look of the film was released on Allu Arjun’s birthday in April. His bald look and kohl-rimmed eyes left the netizens mighty impressed. Now, according to Hindustan Times, it is revealed why the makers opted for the title Raaka. The report suggests that the makers of Raaka consciously decided to name the film after Allu Arjun’s title role, keeping in mind the massive success of the Pushpa franchise.
A source told the portal, “The makers of Raaka took a conscious decision to name the film after Allu Arjun’s title role, considering the massive success of the Pushpa franchise. AA turned his character into the film’s very identity more than just a name, it became a phenomenon that resonated across the country. And now, with Raaka, it is repeating that magic, building an entire film around the power of his character.”
Meanwhile, Atlee earlier shared the poster and wrote a heartfelt note describing Raaka. His caption read, “Raaka isn’t just a film… it’s a part of me I’ve carried for years. For 18 years, I held on to one idea, never letting it fade. It tested me, shaped me, and stayed with me through everything. And honestly… this is just the beginning.”

Apart from Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, Raaka is expected to feature Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles. However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the same.
