Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan was recently seen with Ananya Panday in the film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The film failed to perform well at the box office. However, the actor has several exciting
projects lined up, including Naagzilla, and Anurag Basu’s untitled musical romance. Now, Bollywood Hungama reports that the actor is also in advanced talks with director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, who is known for directing Lakshya starrer ‘Kill’ (2024), and Tara Sutaria starrer Apurva (2023).
Kartik Aaryan To Collaborate With Nikhil Nagesh Bhat?
According to Bollywood Hungama, Kartik has been offered a mythological action-adventure film by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, and the actor is in advanced stages of discussion with the director. If all goes well, Kartik will sign on the dotted line soon. “Kartik Aaryan has been offered a one-of-a-kind film by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. It is an action-adventure film rooted in Indian mythology. Kartik has been excited about this film as the subject is commercial, novel and has the potential to resonate with not just classes but also the masses. Moreover, Kartik enjoyed Nikhil’s Kill and feels that he is a director to watch out for,” a source told the portal.
The source further continued, “Both Kartik Aaryan and Nikhil Nagesh Bhat are in advanced stages of discussion. If all goes well and if everything falls in place, Kartik will sign on the dotted line very soon. Meanwhile, both the actor and filmmaker are also having talks with a major studio to come on board to produce and finance the project. Even on this front, talks have reached advanced stages.”
Kartik Aaryan’s Other Projects
Meanwhile, Kartik will next be seen in Naagzilla, in which he will be seen playing the role of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an Ichadaari Naag. The actor’s first look from the film was released in April 2025. Back then, Karan Johar shared the motion poster and wrote, “Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar! #NaagZilla – Naag lok ka pehla kaand… Funnn phailaane aa raha hai – Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki Sssssinemas mein – 14 August 2026 ko!” Reportedly, Ravi Kishan has also joined the Kartik Aaryan starrer and will be playing the antagonist in the movie. It is produced by Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Sujit Jain.
Apart from this, Kartik will also be seen opposite Sreeleela in the untitled musical saga by Anurag Basu. The film was officially announced in February last year, and is expected to release in the second half of 2026.
