Amitabh Bachchan has expressed gratitude to his Kaun Banega Crorepati team. Recently, the Bollywood superstar, who is currently hosting the 17th season of his quiz show, took to his blog and praised the team’s
dedication. He called them ‘true giants and heroes’ and thanked them for making the show what it is today.
“The days fly by, the exhaustion appears .. not on the self but they that prepare me for the work .. they are the true giants and heroes of KBC (sic),” Big B wrote, adding, “Hours and hours of backroom consultations, designings and managing deliverables .. simply unable to understand for them that sit at home and watch the broadcasts.”
“My unblemished gratitude and immense sense of regard respect and appreciation .. it is they that make what makes the SHOW !! And I return from work just a while ago and they still continue to work .. absolute dedication (sic),” the actor concluded.
Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting KBC since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Last year, when Amitabh Bachchan wrapped up season 16 of the show, he got emotional and said, “At the start of every phase, there is a thought that comes to mind: after so many years, will I still be able to see that love, that togetherness, that warmth in everyone’s eyes or not? And by the end of each phase, the truth becomes that this journey, this stage, and everything I have received has been far more than I ever wished for, and it continues to come to me. Our hope is that this desire remains the same and never fades.”
“As I bid farewell, I just want to say that if our efforts have even slightly touched someone’s life or if the words spoken here have ignited hope in any way, then I will consider our 25-year-long journey truly successful. So, ladies and gentlemen, I will see you in the next season. Keep believing in your hard work, keep your dreams alive. Don’t stop, don’t bow down. You are valuable just the way you are, dear to me, and my own. Until we meet again, this is Amitabh Bachchan, signing off from this season with my final words—Shubh Ratri,” the actor added.
