opposite National Award-winning actor Dhanush in an upcoming film directed by Tamilarasan Pachamuthu. The news has created a buzz among fans.
As reported by 123 Telugu, Dhanush has a project with Lubber Pandhu director Tamilarasan Pachamuthu. And Rukmini Vasanth was roped in as the female lead. But looks like she is no longer part of the project as she has dates issues. She has given bulk dates to NTR–Prashanth Neel’s film. Fresh report claims suggests that the makers is now considering Sara Arjun as the leading lady. However, nothing is confirmed.
Dhanush upcoming films
In January, the actor announced officially his next film, tentatively titled D55. The makers took to social media to confirm that the film will be directed by Amaran director Rajkumar Periasamy. He also has Kara in his kitty and has been promoting it currently. The film also features Mamitha Baiju as the heroine. The film boasts a strong cast as well as a brilliant technical crew. Apart from Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju, the film will also feature director K S Ravikumar, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas and Prithvi Pandiraj in pivotal roles.

The actress is currently riding high on the success of Dhurandhar. The film has created history and broke all records including Baahubali and Pushpa. The story of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, played by Ranveer Singh, as he evolves into the fearsome Hamza Ali Mazari. After defeating mobster Rehman Dakait in the first film, Jaskirat has become firmly buried in Karachi’s underworld, earning the nickname “Sher-e-Baloch.” Sara Arjun portrays Yalina, Hamza’s wife. The sequel goes deeper into his past, telling how Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan, recruited him for the risky assignment. The plot focuses on his attempt to dismantle criminal networks and the financial backbone of terrorist operations, resulting in a psychological war with the mastermind.
The majority of the film’s original cast returns. Ranveer Singh reprises his dual character of Jaskirat/Hamza. Sanjay Dutt returns as SP Chaudhary Aslam, while R. Madhavan portrays Ajay Sanyal, an important player in Jaskirat’s journey. Arjun Rampal takes over as the ruthless Major Iqbal. Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Saumya Tandon, and Danish Pandor also play major roles in the film.
