Earlier Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal, had also scored 155 runs for the opening wicket against Australia in Visakhapatnam. Another impressive partnership was between Smriti Mandhana and Punam Raut, who put on 144 runs against England in Derby during the 2017 Women’s World Cup. Going further back, Anju Jain and Jwala Sharma made a solid 107-run opening stand against West Indies in Pretoria in 2005.
