Toxic Box Office Collection Day 4
Toxic witnessed another dip in its box office earnings on Saturday, collecting Rs 24.50 crore net across India on Day 4. The Yash-led action drama had set the cash registers ringing with a phenomenal Rs 101.10 crore net opening on Wednesday, but its collections have steadily declined with each passing day.
The film brought in Rs 37.65 crore on Thursday, followed by Rs 27.20 crore on Friday before registering Rs 24.50 crore on Saturday. Despite the slowdown, Toxic has managed to push its India net collection to Rs 190.45 crore within four days. Its India gross collection currently stands at Rs 227.50 crore.

It is excessive, moody, violent, ornate and occasionally uneven, yet there is an undeniable pulse beneath all that smoke, blood and swagger. Geetu Mohandas does not merely build a gangster drama around Yash’s towering presence. She fashions a bruised fable about inheritance, desire, rage, power and the sins that travel quietly from one generation to another. The film falters when it forgets its women and overindulges in its own spectacle, but when it works, it has the feverish magnetism of a nightmare told under golden lights. Toxic is not clean, gentle or perfectly disciplined cinema. It is messy, seductive and morally corroded, and perhaps that is exactly why its grown-up fairy tale leaves behind a bitter, lingering aftertaste.”

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a gangster film directed by Geetu Mohandas and jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash through KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations LLP respectively. It stars an ensemble cast including Yash, Kiara Advani in the lead role alongside Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Akshay Oberoi.
