Roads To Be Affected
Traffic restrictions will impact several key stretches across central Delhi, including major roads such as Sardar Patel Marg, Janpath, Akbar Road and Teen Murti Marg.
Important diplomatic and high-security routes like Shanti Path, Satya Marg and Africa Avenue will also see regulations.
Additionally, parts of Mathura Road, Subrahmaniam Bharti Marg, Prithvi Raj Road and Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg are expected to face diversions, along with connecting stretches near Lodhi Flyover and Kautilya Marg.
Commuters using these corridors are likely to experience delays and are advised to plan alternate routes accordingly.
Suggested Alternate Routes
To ease congestion during the restrictions, commuters have been advised to use alternate routes including San Martin Marg, Panchsheel Marg, and APJ Abdul Kalam Marg.
Key corridors such as Aurobindo Marg, Lodhi Road, Ring Road, and Barapullah Road are also recommended to help divert traffic from affected stretches.
Other suggested routes include Tilak Marg, Ferozshah Road, Rafi Marg, Sansad Marg, and K Kamraj Marg, along with South Avenue Road and Vandematram Marg.
Motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and opt for these alternative roads to minimise delays and ensure smoother travel.
“Commuters have been urged to cooperate with authorities and avoid the affected routes wherever possible. They are advised to plan their journeys in advance and factor in additional travel time to account for potential delays,” the advisory said.
“Motorists should strictly follow the directions of traffic personnel deployed on duty, adhere to traffic regulations, and maintain proper lane discipline to ensure smooth and safe movement for all road users,” it added.
The AI Impact Summit 2026, set to conclude on February 20, is being framed as a key platform aimed at amplifying the voices of developing nations in shaping global AI governance.
