Fans are in for a treat as a fun video of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan from the sets of their upcoming horror comedy Haiwaan has taken the internet by storm. The behind-the-scenes clip, which is now
going viral, showcases the duo bonding as they reunite after 17 years.
In the video, shared by Viral Bhayani, we can see Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar enjoying at the set. Both are into their character and are very happy for reuniting. In no it went viral and fans were seen also reacting to it. This made them recall Tu Khiladi Main Anari film. Akshay and Saif have worked in Tashan too.

Shoot Announcement:
On Saturday, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a video announcing that the shoot for Haiwaan has officially begun. In the video, he’s seen holding the clapperboard while director Priyadarshan and co-star Saif Ali Khan engage in playful banter with him. Noticing Akshay’s T-shirt with ‘Saint’ written on it, Saif quips, “You should wear ‘Devil’ instead.” Akshay points at Saif, and tells Priyadarshan, “This Devil you don’t know about. But I know this Devil very well.” He also adds that it’s been over 17 years since they last worked together in Tashan.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Hum sab hi hain thode se shaitaan…Koi upar se Saint, koi andar se Haiwaan :)) Starting the shoot for #Haiwaan today with my absolute favourite captain of the ship, @priyadarshan.official Sir. Mohanlal to join Akshay and Saif on screen
Speaking to OnManorama from the film’s Kochi set, Priyadarshan confirmed that Haiwaan is a remake of his Malayalam film Oppam but with significant changes. He revealed that Mohanlal, who led the original, will be part of the Hindi version too. “His character will definitely be a surprise to the audience,” the filmmaker teased. On his rapport with Akshay, he added, “It’s all about comfort. For me, he is Bollywood’s Mohanlal.”
Akshay Kumar On Haiwaan
Akshay Kumar will reportedly take on the role of the villain in Haiwaan. When asked about the film’s title, the actor jokingly told Hindustan Times, “This is something that was written in my destiny. First, I did a film called Insaan. Then after that, I did Jaanwar. Now I’m doing Haiwaan. So the trilogy is complete — Insaan, Jaanwar, Haiwaan.” However, he laughed it off and added, “It’s not something that was planned this way.”

The actor is currently gearing up for Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi. The film trailer has released and it has impressed everyone. Apart from this he also has Bhoot Bangla. He has recently announced Haiwan with Saif Ali Khan. The project also reunites Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, who previously worked together in Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994) and Tashan (2008). This time, they step into Priyadarshan’s suspense-driven thriller. Akshay posted a behind-the-scenes video from the first day of shoot, showing him with a clapboard while Saif and the director shared a laugh. In the clip, Akshay wore a T-shirt with the word Saint, which led Priyadarshan to joke that Saif should be wearing it instead, while Akshay held the Haiwaan slate. Akshay captioned the video, “Hum sab hi hain thode se shaitaan… Koi upar se Saint, koi andar se Haiwaan.”
Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Jewel Thief and it was released on Netflix. The actor’s performance was praised.
