Although Four More Shots Please is set to conclude with its fourth season, actresses Sayani Gupta and Maanvi Gagroo are finding it very difficult to say goodbye to the much-loved Prime Video show. The
two believe the story of the four unapologetically flawed women still has plenty of life and hope it could return to the screen in some form.
Sayani feels the show has the potential to run much longer, just like the iconic American series Sex and the City. “I still feel it’s a show that can go on till eight to 10 seasons, it can go on forever, like ‘Sex and the City’, and then have the recent one,” she said in an interview with PTI.

“I honestly feel deep inside that never say never. So, every time you are saying final, it’s feeling more final than we actually thought of it,” she added. Echoing the sentiment, Maanvi shared, “It’s the final season, but it’s not a final goodbye because we will continue to live in your heart.”
Maanvi Gagroo Recalled The Last Day Of Shoot
The Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan actress also recalled the final day of the shoot, sharing that the entire cast and crew were in tears. But it hit her hard when she saw the words “final season” in writing. “That’s when it kind of hit me,” Maanvi mentioned.
Sayani Gupta Says The Show Proved To Be A Turning Point In Her Career
During the conversation, Sayani also noted that the show was a defining moment in her career. Revealing that people often call her “Damini Rizvi Roy”, the character she plays in Four More Shots, she explained, “The kind of love we get globally, the letters we get, and a lot of people who say that this show has touched their lives. Our careers pivoted, but this show is and will always remain a massive part of all our lives.”

Four More Shots Please, which premiered in 2019, follows the lives of four women, played by Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, Bani J, and Kirti Kulhari, as they navigate friendships, love, career, heartbreak, and self-discovery in Mumbai. Created by Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy, the final season will bring back the fan-favourite quartet, alongside Prateik S M Patil, Milind Soman, Rajeev Siddhartha, Lisa Ray, and Ankur Rathee. Dino Morea, Anasuya Sengupta, and Kunaal Roy Kapur are the new faces in the fourth season, which will premiere on December 19.
