Munawar Faruqui is busy hosting the reality TV show Pati Patni Aur Panga with Sonali Bendre. The actor-comedian was recently seen outside the sets of his show interacting with a few fans. Munawar was in his usual
demeanor, posing for the paparazzi when one of them approached him. The photographer seemed quite happy to meet him and gently kissed his hand expressing admiration.
What caught everyone’s attention was Munawar’s humble yet hilarious gesture. He kept holding the photographer’s hand but went on to kiss his own hand as an act of reciprocation making everyone laugh. Munawar was seen in an all black outfit for the episode shoot.

Munawar Faruqui’s Career So Far
Munawar Faruqui is enjoying the popularity of his online series First Copy. The crime thriller, directed by Farhan P, debuted on Amazon MX Player earlier this year. Along with Munawar. Krystle D’Souza plays an important role in the series.
First Copy, which centres on the topics of film piracy and illegal trade, has wowed binge-watchers.First Copy was set in the 1990s. It follows the story of Arif, a young, clever man whose street-smart instincts take him deeper into the dark realm of film theft. First Copy also features Gulshan Grover, Saqib Ayub, Ashi Singh, Meiyang Chang, Inam Ul Haq and Raza Murad.
Munawar Faruqui’s First Copy Back With New Season
Now, the makers have announced the second season of the series. The trailer, set in early 2000s Mumbai, teases the show’s deeper dive into the world of film piracy, with a high-stakes story driven by ambition, power and treachery taking centre stage.
Munawar’s character Arif, formerly a king of piracy, faces struggles with persistent foes and betrayal in his pursuit for everything bigger than he has. The trailer’s highlights include Arif’s suspenseful arrest, followed by furious chases, brutal altercations, and confrontations with both old and new foes.
Other segments provide insight into Arif’s personal life, focussing on his interactions with Ashi Singh and Krystle D’Souza’s characters. First Copy Season 2 will be released on November 5 on Amazon MX Player.
