India’s Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma have been named in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Team of the Tournament.
The trio is joined by six other international stars: South

Mandhana and Wolvaardt, who faced each other in the final, are chosen as the opening pair. Wolvaardt led the tournament with 571 runs at an average of 71.37, making her the highest individual run-scorer in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup history, aided by her consecutive centuries in the semi-final and final. Rodrigues secured the number three position after her match-winning 127 not out against Australia, propelling her team to the final. Sharma, another Indian star, topped the bowling charts with 22 wickets, including crucial spells in the knockout stages.
South Africa’s Kapp retained her spot in the team after strong performances with both bat and ball, including 12 wickets and two half-centuries. Her five for 20 against England in the semi-final marked her as the leading wicket-taker in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup history. De Klerk also impressed with an unbeaten 84 off 54 balls against India and nine wickets throughout the tournament.
Australian bowlers King and Sutherland performed exceptionally, with King recording a seven-wicket haul against South Africa while conceding only 18 runs, the best bowling figures across all Women’s World Cup editions. Sutherland ended with 17 wickets and scored an unbeaten 98 to help her team defeat England, part of a 180-run partnership with Gardner, who scored her second century of the tournament and took seven wickets.
