Ananya Panday seems to have started 2026 with a small health hiccup. The actress recently took to social media to share a mirror selfie from inside her vanity van, giving fans a glimpse of her recent injury.
In the photo, Ananya is seen dressed in a comfortable oversized grey hoodie and matching bottoms, with her arm resting in a sling.
Keeping her trademark humour intact, Ananya captioned the post with a cheeky Hindi line, “2026 mein nazar lag gayi.” Her humour in such a situation reassured fans that she is handling the situation calmly.

However, it wasn’t just her injury that caught everyone’s attention. The vanity mirror in the background sparked major nostalgia among Bollywood lovers. Decorated with posters and cut-outs of Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor from their prime years, the setup felt like a throwback to the pre-social media era, when 80s and 90s kids proudly pasted their favourite stars on bedroom walls and mirrors.
Adding to the retro Bollywood vibe was a sticker that read, “Main Apni Favourite Hoon,” the iconic dialogue from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character Geet in Jab We Met.

The actress was last seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, made under the direction of National Award-winner Sameer Vidwans. The romantic drama, also starring Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta, blended romance, humour and emotional moments against a visually rich backdrop.
