Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category on Monday morning, though a slight improvement is expected with the weather department forecasting light showers in the city.
According to data from
the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 315 at 6 am.
Neighbouring areas also reported poor air conditions, with Noida and Ghaziabad recording AQI levels of 331 and 321, respectively, as per data from the CPCB’s SAMEER app. Meanwhile, air quality showed marginal improvement in Greater Noida (288) and Gurugram (244), where it was classified as ‘poor’.
