The 68th Grammy Awards have officially begun in Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, and stars have already arrived at the prestigious red carpet. Among them is the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s member Rose.
With this, she marked a major milestone in her career, as she attended music’s biggest night as a solo nominee for the first time.
The 28-year-old singer stunned in a black strapless mini dress featuring dramatic white drapery that cascaded over her silhouette. She paired it with black heels. Given the drama of her outfit, she decided to keep the accessories minimal. She opted for just a bracelet and chose a subtle touch of makeup to put together her look for the special night.
BLACKPINK’s Rose To Perform At The 2026 Grammys
The 2026 Grammys are extremely significant in Rose’s solo career, as she has not only been nominated in three categories but is also performing at the ceremony. On Friday, January 30, the official Instagram account of the Grammy Awards, presented by the Recording Academy, announced that the K-pop artist will perform at the 2026 ceremony, leaving her fans all excited. This makes her the first Korean soloist to have ever taken the stage at the prestigious event.
BLACKPINK Rose’s Grammy Nominations
The Australian-Korean singer-songwriter has also made history as a first-time Grammy nominee, earning three major nominations. Her record-breaking hit, APT, a collaboration with Bruno Mars, has received nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. With this, she became the first Korean soloist to receive nominations in the Grammy general fields.
When the Grammy nominations were announced in November, Rose expressed her disbelief and gratitude in an Instagram post. “I cannot believe my life. I am STILL trying to process everything. FYI, Rose and Bruno Mars’ song, APT, is the lead single of the BLACKPINK member’s debut studio album, Rosie, which was released in December 2024. The catchy track has shattered many records and received multiple awards since its release. Whether it wins a Grammy remains to be seen.
