John Abraham has found himself a new address now. The actor has reportedly shelled out Rs 84 crore for a bungalow in Bandra West.
According to property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras, John’s
bungalow is located on St. Martin Road in Bandra West.
According to the property registration documents, the property sits on a 1,017.60 sq metre plot and includes an existing bungalow with a built-up area of approximately 193.12 sq metres, along with an outhouse measuring around 31.50 sq metres. The transaction was registered for Rs 84 crore on July 14, 2026, with John Abraham paying Rs 5.04 crore in stamp duty. The freehold property was purchased from Naushir Eruch Divitre, Fredon Eruch Divitre, Crystal Firoz Divitre and Eruch Firoz Divitre through a registered conveyance deed.
Meanwhile, John had also made a major real estate purchase in December 2023, when he bought a 5,416 sq ft bungalow along with the 7,722 sq ft plot it stands on in Mumbai’s Khar area for Rs 70.83 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com. The bungalow is situated on Khar’s Linking Road. For that, John Abraham had to shell out Rs 4.24 crore in stamp duty. The deal was registered on December 27, 2023.

On the work front, John Abraham is gearing up to portray former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming biographical drama. He had earlier said that stepping into the shoes of one of India’s most respected police officers comes with a lot of responsibility.
The film is based on Rakesh Maria’s memoir Let Me Say It Now and traces the life and career of the former Mumbai Police Commissioner. It follows his role in investigating some of India’s most high-profile criminal and terror cases, including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
Speaking about the role, John said in a chat with The Times Of India that it goes beyond simply resembling the real-life figure on screen. “Rakesh Maria is someone whose career has intersected with some defining moments in our country’s history, so naturally there’s a tremendous sense of responsibility in portraying him.”
He added, “When you are portraying a real person, the objective isn’t imitation — it’s understanding the individual behind the public image. That means spending a lot of time researching, understanding his mindset, the pressures he faced, and the decisions he had to make. It’s a challenge to play Rakesh Maria on screen and I’m looking forward to doing justice to it.”
