Hyderabad, Aug 20 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, state Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud and other party leaders on Thursday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi
on his 82nd birth anniversary.
Describing Rajiv Gandhi as a source of inspiration to all, Reddy called for building a strong India on the principles of peace, brotherhood, and equality cherished by the former Prime Minister.
“The architect of modern India, Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary – “Sadbhavana Diwas” is observed with a message of fostering peace, brotherhood, communal harmony, and unity across the nation,” Reddy said in a release.
Goud paid floral tributes to the statue of Rajiv Gandhi in Nizamabad and recalled the former Prime Minister’s contributions to the country, especially for youth empowerment, promotion of technology and local bodies.
