Shahid Kapoor is all set to return in the highly anticipated sequel to Raj and DK’s popular crime-thriller series Farzi! As the series starring Shahid and Vijay Sethupathi completed three years today,
the makers officially announced that Farzi 2 is in the works. A few days ago, Shahid Kapoor teased the sequel by sharing a picture of his new look, hinting that he will soon begin shooting for Farzi 2. Now, the actor shared a photo with Raj and DK, confirming that he will soon be seen in the sequel.
Farzi 2 Announced
On February 10, as Farzi completed 3 years, the renowned directing team of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., better known as Raj & DK, confirmed that production for the sequel is underway. They took to their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, and shared a picture of a huge stack of counterfeit banknotes. “Round 2 in progress. Farzi,” read the text on the poster. Raj and DK shared the image and wrote, “Second batch…. WIP… #Farzi.”
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor took to his Instagram stories and posted a happy picture with Raj and DK. “The fakers are back at it @rajanddk,” he wrote. Check it out below!

Shahid Kapoor Flaunts New Look
A few days ago, Shahid sparked fresh excitement by hinting at the return of Farzi 2. The actor took to Instagram to share a photo that has left audiences thinking that the much-awaited second season of the hit web series is gearing up to go on floors soon.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Shahid Kapoor shared a new haircut which looked similar to his Farzi character. He captioned it as ‘Sunny Days Back Soon’. The photo immediately viral and it is being assumed that the shoot for second season will begin soon.
Farzi, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video in February 2023, was widely acclaimed for its gripping storyline and performances. The show also starred Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, and Kavya Thapar in pivotal roles.
