When it comes to Shah Rukh Khan, even Mumbai knows how to celebrate its King! The superstar turned 61 on November 2. Ahead of that, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was lit up with a special tribute to Shaih
Rukh and his upcoming film King. And guess what? The actor couldn’t wait to see it himself! He sneaked out for a drive, clicked a picture of the beautiful display and shared it with his fans.
Shah Rukh took to X to share a photograph of the Sea Link lit up for him. He thanked Google Gemini for the “KING-sized love” and revealed that he had “sneak[ed] out for a drive” to capture the special moment.

But the Sea Link wasn’t the only place celebrating the superstar. Mannat also got a grand King-themed makeover. The actor’s Mumbai home featured larger-than-life projections from the film, along with its popular dialogues, “King Akela Kaafi Hai” and “Darr Nahi, Dehshat Hoon”. A large display was also set up at the residence, which could be used for a special film-related projection.
Shah Rukh Khan also dropped the first song from his upcoming film King on November 2 midnight. Titled Tu Mil Jaaye, the song brings Shah Rukh and Deepika together once again and features Arijit Singh’s vocals and Ed Sheeran’s rap. The music video begins with Shah Rukh delivering a dialogue that makes it clear his character is not someone to be taken lightly. He says, “I am not a killer, but a lover. My beloved is my target, and what kind of lover would I be if I did not pierce the heart?”
