Besides Trisha, even her mother Uma Krishnan recently shared her review of the film. Speaking to ANI, Uma mentioned, “We had a good time. We really enjoyed the movie. I feel bad that this is his last film. We are going to miss him.” Uma and Trisha’s reactions are going viral on social media.
Jana Nayagan was finally released in theatres on July 23 after much controversy over its censor certificate. Vijay’s fans have celebrated the release like a festival. As per Sacnilk, the film’s total worldwide opening day collection stands at Rs 78.27 crore. According to the tracker, Jana Nayagan’s box office collection on opening day in India (gross) is Rs 48.27 crore and net is Rs 41 crore.

Who wouldn’t want to see their hero take on the role of a protector and save the realm one last time?”
“While the message is clear, the screenplay occasionally feels designed around Vijay’s demigod-cum-vigilante image rather than building a layered narrative. The dialogues are powerful in isolation, but some moments feel more like curated political speeches than organic conversations between characters. But if you’re in it for the theatrics, you won’t be disappointed,” the review also mentioned.
