Rakul Preet Singh is a busy bee, packed with an exciting line-up of big-ticket projects. Most recently, the charming actress is shooting in Prayagraj for Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. And it looks like she took
a day off of her jam-packed schedule to spend it in the most soulful way. The De De Pyaar De actress took a spiritual sabbatical to the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings.
Sharing her experience on Instagram, Rakul shared a bunch of pictures to give fans a glimpse of her sacred visit to the divine temple. The pictures showed her immersed in devotion while performing the rituals.

Dressed in a pink salwar kameez with a light makeup look, Rakul looked graceful in the first picture, where she posed in front of the temple. The next slide shows her attending the Ganga Aarti with her team amid the sounds of bells and drums and the chanting of mantras by both priests and fellow devotees. One of the videos showed the actress receiving prasad from the priest after the puja.
Captioning the post, she wrote, “Blessed to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple and witness the Ganga aarti.”

Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’s cast
The actress is all set to bring a much-loved character to life in the upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh 2, directed by Mudassar Aziz. Joining her will be Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi. The sequel follows the 2019 romantic comedy starring Ananya Panday, Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
What’s Next For Rakul Preet Singh?
Next, the actress will reprise her role as Ayesha in De De Pyaar De 2. The actress reunites with Ajay Devgn (who portrays Ashish Mehra), with R Madhavan joining the sequel as her father. Made under the direction of Anshul Sharma and backed by Luv Ranjan, the upcoming film is among the most anticipated rom-coms in the pipeline.
But that’s not all. Fans will also see Rakul in Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological magnum opus Ramayana. She will portray the major role of Surpanakha, the sister of Ravana, in the big-budget film also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Ravie Dubey in pivotal roles.
Rakul Preet Singh has also signed a film with designer-turned-producer Manish Malhotra. Sharing the news, she wrote on Instagram, “Yayyyyyy so so happpy to finally work on a film together… can’t wait to bring your magic to the screen.”
Adding to the list of her already diverse line-up, the actress will be seen in Ameeri alongside veteran actor Neena Gupta.
