SBI Clerk Registration 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened applications for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales), commonly known as SBI Clerk. A total of 6,589 vacancies,
including both regular and backlog positions, will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website, sbi.co.in, until August 26, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of April 1, 2025. This means their date of birth should fall between April 2, 1997, and April 1, 2005 (inclusive). Relaxations in the upper age limit apply to reserved category applicants as per government norms.
Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Those pursuing integrated dual degrees should ensure that the date of passing is on or before December 31, 2025. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they can produce proof of graduation by the same date if selected.
Selection Process
The recruitment process includes three stages:
Preliminary Exam: An online objective-type test carrying 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour.
Main Exam: This stage consists of 190 questions worth 200 marks, conducted over 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Local Language Test: Candidates provisionally selected who have not studied the specified local language of the state applied for (in Class 10 or 12) will need to clear the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT), carrying 20 marks.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 750 for candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories. SC, ST, PwBD, XS, and DXS candidates are exempted from the fee.

Step 4: Click on ‘Apply Online’ and then ‘Click here for New Registration’.
Step 5: Enter basic details including name, mobile number, and email ID to generate login credentials.
Step 6: Log in and fill out the application form with academic and personal information.

Handwritten declaration (as per format)
Step 8: Pay the application fee online using debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
