Known for his understated choices and disciplined approach to both craft and life, Randeep Hooda has taken his first step into entrepreneurship. The actor has joined as an investor in TeinPro, a homegrown
wellness and nutrition venture, marking a new phase that reflects his belief in balance, mindful living, and long-term well-being. Hooda joins the young bright minds behind TeinPro for bringing an authentic health brand that focuses on allowing the Indian market a clean protein forward brand. Founded by Chimay Barik, Raghav Gupta and Kshitij Shokeen, TeinPro is India’s health focused brand that focuses on fitness with intent and clean nutrition.
Hooda’s move into the business space is intentionally quiet, mirroring his personal philosophy. Over the years, he has been known for avoiding excess, whether in performances, lifestyle choices, or public associations. His decision to back a wellness venture stems from this same alignment rather than commercial ambition. From physically demanding roles in films such as Sarbjit, to more restrained, layered performances in Highway and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, Hooda’s career has consistently been shaped by discipline and intention, qualities that now inform his entrepreneurial choices as well.
Speaking about his decision to step into entrepreneurship and his association with TeinPro, Hooda said, “I’ve never been someone who believes in attaching my name to things casually. For me, any association off screen has to feel honest and reflective of how I live my life. When I interacted with the founders, Chinmay, Raghav and Kshitij – I connected with the simplicity of their thinking. They weren’t trying to sell extremes or push a fitness fad. The focus was on everyday nourishment that fits into our Indian lifestyles and routines, especially given that the innately Indian diet does not meet the necessary requirement of protein intake that one needs daily. What stood out to me was how the protein and energy bars are positioned, not just for people who train intensely, but also for those who have long workdays, active routines, or simply want to make better food choices. The idea of creating something clean, with no added sugar or preservatives, and keeping the emphasis on balance rather than excess, felt very natural to me. Protein doesn’t need to be intimidating or complicated. It can and should be a part of daily life”.
Conceptualised by a young founding team, TeinPro currently offers protein bars and energy bars designed to support everyday routines rather than extreme fitness goals.
