off her customised supplement kit and talked about why it’s so important to listen to your body as you go through this transition.
She pointed out that supplements, when chosen based on blood tests and with advice from a doctor, can help manage perimenopause. Hormonal changes mess with your energy, mood, and overall sense of well-being, and Soha’s found that the right supplements make a difference. She shared the ones she relies on to fight exhaustion, brain fog, bloating, and trouble sleeping.

Prioritising Tests and Medical Advice
First, she stressed the need for proper tests and expert advice before you add anything new to your routine. Perimenopause usually hits in the late 30s or early 40s, and it can stick around for years. Changes in hormones bring all sorts of symptoms: irregular periods, tiredness, mood swings—the works.
Soha began by highlighting how important it is to understand one’s body before using supplements. She noted that hormonal abnormalities might “kick in” in the 40s, so making wise decisions for optimal well-being is important.
Supplements should only be used after blood tests and expert medical advice, she added, to ensure they address real deficits or needs rather than just following trends.
B-Complex for Metabolism and Brain Fog
The Bollywood actress opens her kit with a B-complex vitamin. Soha stated that she takes B-complex to improve metabolism, reduce fatigue, and relieve brain fog — common concerns during perimenopause — although her B12 levels are within acceptable limits. She said that this combo had improved her mental clarity and energy levels.
Vitamin D3, Zinc and Collagen for Overall Health
Soha also takes four drops of vitamin D3 after breakfast, citing its benefits for bone health, immunity, and mood. She incorporates zinc and collagen into her regimen to maintain the health of her hair and skin. These nutrients are often linked with structural strength and repair, which can become more crucial when hormonal fluctuations impact skin flexibility and hair quality.
Omega-3 And Milk Thistle for Internal Balance
She takes one omega-3 pill every day to support heart health and cognitive brain function. Soha recently added milk thistle, which she said relieves sensations of bloating or lethargy—symptoms that many women experience during hormonal fluctuations—and aids in liver cleansing.
Magnesium For Sleep and Relaxation
Soha uses magnesium supplements before bed to ease her muscles, induce deep sleep, and improve her mood. She referred to it as one of the most widely used supplements nowadays and urged people to check it out, if appropriate, stressing the need to seek expert guidance.
Although these supplements make up her current kit, Soha noted that individual needs might differ greatly and that what works for one person could not work for another without a customised examination.
