The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has opened the registration window for the MHT CET 2026 today, January 10. Candidates can apply on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The last
date to register is February 12, 2026.
The application fee for MHT CET 2026 has been increased to Rs 1,300 for general category candidates, while reserved category candidates need to pay Rs 1,000. To apply, students must have an Aadhaar number, APAAR ID, and other documents such as class 10 and 12 certificates.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has announced the tentative schedule for all CET exams for the 2026 admission session. For the first time, both the MHT CET and MBA CET will be held twice a year.
As per the official timetable, the Maharashtra CET 2026 exams are set to commence on March 24, 2026, and will extend until May 8, 2026. The second session exams will be held in May.
The first session PCM exam will take place from April 11 to 19, 2026, and the PCB group exam from April 21 to 26, 2026. The second session PCB group exam is scheduled for May 10 and 11, 2026, while the PCM group exam will be conducted from May 14 to 17, 2026.
The first session offers students an earlier opportunity in the year to take the exam, while the second session provides an additional chance to improve their scores or choose a date that better aligns with their preparation schedule.
MHT CET EXAM PATTERN
MHT CET consists of two papers, each carrying 100 marks. For candidates who have opted for PCM, Mathematics will be their first paper. For those with PCB, Biology will be their Paper 1. The second paper, which includes Physics and Chemistry, is common for both PCB and PCM. Each candidate will have three hours to complete their papers. The syllabus for this exam is based on textbooks from classes 11 and 12.
