Ananya Panday is all praise for fashion designer-turned-producer Manish Malhotra’s upcoming project, Gustaakh Ishq. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared her excitement after watching the film’s teaser,
calling it “beautiful” and expressing love for Malhotra’s creative journey.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Ananya shared the teaser and wrote, “Wow MM!!! Personally, I have learned so much about cinema from you and all your stories and experiences. Can’t wait for you to add another feather to your already fluffy cap @manishmalhotra05 this looks beautiful.” She didn’t stop there — Ananya also hyped the film’s stellar cast, tagging industry veterans and rising stars, including Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, adding, “And a stellar cast!!! Gustaakh Ishq Teaser:
The teaser gives major retro romance vibes, while the set-up gives a complete vintage feel! It features the background song ‘Uljalool Ishq’, which symbolizes irrational or obsessive love. The movie will be produced under Manish’s production banner known as Stage5 Production. Set in the bylanes of Purani Dilli (Old Delhi) and the fading kothis (vintage houses) of Punjab, “Gustaakh Ishq” is a love story of passion and unspoken desire, drawing from a world where architecture holds memory and music carries longing. The film is directed by Vibhu Puri with music by Vishal Bhardwaj, lyrics by Gulzar, sound by Resul Pookutty and cinematography by Manush Nandan.It stars actors from veteran Naseeruddin Shah to the deft Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sharib Hashmi.

The movie is slated for, November 2025 release.

She will be next seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri with Kartik Aaryan. The project marks Kartik and Ananya’s second on-screen collaboration after their 2019 release “Pati Patni Aur Woh,” a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
Backed by Karan Johar in collaboration with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora, “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” is likely to reach the cinema halls on February 13 next year.
