The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin accepting online applications for scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets today, May 19, 2026. Students who wish to access their evaluated answer books
can submit their requests through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
The application window will remain open from May 19 to May 22, 2026. Candidates are required to pay a processing fee of Rs 100 per answer book. Previously, the fee was Rs 700, but it has now been significantly reduced. The verification and re-evaluation process will take place from May 26 to 29.

Hii can anyone tell me why it was showing “Registration window is closed for class 12” in CBSE re-evaluation website till now?? Does it was started and ended or it will not started yet??@cbseindia29

CBSE has clarified that the entire process, including application submission and fee payment, must be completed online. Requests submitted after the deadline or through offline methods will not be entertained.
The processing fee can only be paid through online payment modes such as Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. Payments through Postal Order, Demand Draft (DD), Money Order, Cheque, or Cash will not be accepted.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Steps to Apply for Scanned Answer Sheets
Students can follow the steps below to request a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book:
— Visit the official CBSE website at CBSE.
— Click on the “Pareeksha Sangam” link available on the homepage.
— Select the “Schools” section.
— A new page will appear on the screen.
— Click on the “Scanned Copy Application” link.
— Enter the required login credentials.
— Fill in the necessary details and proceed further.
— Pay the application fee online.
— Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
— Keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
The process assumes significance this year after CBSE acknowledged the possibility of evaluation errors during the checking of nearly 1.25 crore answer scripts. The board had declared the Class XII results with an overall pass percentage of 85.20%, lower than last year’s 88.39%.
