Addressing the nation, Trump said it had been one month since the US launched “Operation Epic Fury” targeting Iran, which he described as the world’s leading state sponsor of terror. He claimed US forces had delivered “swift, decisive” victories during this period.

Trump said Iran’s military capabilities had been significantly degraded, adding that its naval forces were effectively eliminated, its air force severely weakened, and key leadership figures neutralised.
He added that the command structure of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was being dismantled, while missile and drone capabilities had been curtailed. He also claimed that Iran’s weapons infrastructure, including factories and launch systems, had been largely destroyed.

The US president said the scale of damage inflicted on Iran in the recent weeks was unprecedented, adding that American forces were continuing operations to weaken Tehran’s military capacity further.
“Our enemies are losing… and now winning bigger than ever before,” Trump said, asserting that US military efforts had gained momentum.
The remarks come amid ongoing hostilities between the US and Iran, with tensions in the region remaining high.
Trump Asks Countries To Show ‘Courage’
Trump also urged countries dependent on oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz to take responsibility for securing the crucial shipping route, calling on them to act with “courage.”

He said nations that rely on the passage for energy supplies should move to protect and control it, while pointing to that the US would not allow its allies in the Middle East to come under threat.
The US president also acknowledged key regional partners, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain, and reiterated Washington’s commitment to their security.
