Nissan India has launched a bold new version of its popular Magnite SUV – the Kuro Edition – starting at Rs 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The word ‘Kuro’ means black in Japanese, and true to its name, this edition
gets a stylish all-black treatment, both inside and out.
Price
Here’s a quick look at the price list (ex-showroom):
- 1.0 MT – Rs 8.30 lakh
- 1.0 AMT – Rs 8.55 lakh
- 1.0 Turbo MT – Rs 9.71 lakh
- 1.0 Turbo CVT – Rs 10.86 lakh
Bookings are now open for Rs 11,000.
Design
The Kuro Edition features a unique Onyx Black paint that sets it apart. The front grille, bumper, rear section, and even the alloy wheels follow the blacked-out theme, with only subtle silver inserts and chrome Magnite badging adding contrast. It’s based on the N-Connecta variant, and a Kuro Edition badge gives it a special identity.
Features
The cabin continues to flaunt the black theme. The dashboard, steering wheel, centre console, and roof are all decked in black. Since it’s based on the N-Connecta variant, it packs in some handy features too—like a dual digital screen, Arkamys sound system, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, climate control, rear AC vents, and an illuminated glove box.
Engine Specification
There are no changes to the engine options. The 1.0-litre petrol engine offers 71 hp and is available with manual or AMT gearboxes. For those craving more power, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol pumps out 98 hp and can be paired with a manual or CVT. A CNG variant is also available in the standard range, though not yet confirmed for the Kuro Edition.
