Actor Elli AvrRam was recently spotted at Mumbai’s ISKCON temple, where she spent time seeking blessings and immersing herself in the serene spiritual atmosphere. Dressed in a soft pink sari, Elli looked
composed and radiant as she engaged in quiet prayer, drawing attention not just for her appearance but for the deeply personal reason behind her visit.
“My Uncle Gave Me The Name Krishna”
For Elli, her connection with Lord Krishna goes beyond ritual or symbolism. The actor revealed that her spiritual journey took a meaningful turn after her uncle affectionately began calling her “Krishna,” a gesture that gradually evolved into something far more profound.
“I believe in Krishna Consciousness a lot. I have a beautiful connection with him,” Elli shared in a conversation with IANS. “Ever since I have come to India, I have started learning all these things. My uncle has given me the name Krishna. Since then my journey has started. It is a beautiful connection that is growing.”
The actor has often spoken about her fascination with Indian philosophy and traditions, and this bond appears to have strengthened since she made India her home.
Finding Calm In Indian Spirituality
Those present at the temple observed Elli taking time to absorb the calm and devotional energy of the space. Over the years, she has shown a growing inclination toward understanding Indian spirituality, often expressing curiosity about its teachings and cultural depth.
Her visit to ISKCON reflected a sense of comfort and familiarity—less like a public appearance and more like a personal pause amid a busy professional life.
A Sari With A Story
Elli also spoke about her attire for the temple visit, revealing that the sari she wore holds sentimental value. The pink sari, she said, was purchased during a shoot trip to Bihar.
“I am wearing a beautiful sari and I bought this from Bihar when I was going for my shoot. It is one of my favourite saris,” she shared, adding a personal touch to the moment.
Work Front: Music And New Collaborations
On the professional front, Elli AvrRam was recently seen collaborating with pop artist Neeti Mohan. She featured in the music video Zaar Zaar, which has been gaining attention for its visuals and sound.
As Elli continues to explore new creative avenues, her growing spiritual grounding appears to be offering balance—both personally and professionally.
