Alia Bhatt is among Bollywood’s most celebrated icons, and over the years, she has grown as an actor, a producer and even a mother. In a recent chat with Esquire India, Alia Bhatt was asked about how motherhood
changed her. She also spoke about wanting to delete her social media account.
Alia Bhatt said, “It’s such a massive change. It happens over the course of nine months. You feel your body, and your mindset, transforming. But when you see the child that you’ve made come to life, the scale of that change is so profound that it’s almost impossible to go back to who you were before.”
In the same chat, she also later said, “There are days when I wake up and think, okay, I just want to delete my social media and be an actor who acts. I don’t want to keep up with this conversation again and again… I know that would really cut off contact with so many people who’ve supported me from the beginning, and I don’t want to do that.”
She added, “When it comes to really putting out your personal life…now my personal life is so personal that I find it a little bit difficult.” She continued, “My photo album is full of Raha. I actually have to work hard to take pictures of myself.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt and her sister, Shaheen Bhatt, through their production banner, are set to back a coming-of-age romantic comedy film, Don’t Be Shy, in collaboration with Prime Video.
Don’t Be Shy follows the story of Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das, a 20-year-old girl who thinks she has everything figured out until her perfectly planned life takes an unpredictable turn, and things begin to spiral out of her control.
On the acting front, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. The film will also star Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. She also has Yash Raj Films’ Alpha with Sharvari and Bobby Deol.
