Looks like there’s a new celebrity pairing. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner and Coldplay’s Chris Martin have reportedly been spending time together, sparking rumours of a possible romance. The two were
said to have gone on a “secret date” in London, and fans can’t help but notice that both recently came out of long-term relationships.
According to reports, Sophie and Chris connected shortly after their breakups. Sophie ended her relationship with Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson after almost two years together, while Chris split from actress Dakota Johnson earlier this year, ending their eight-year-long relationship and engagement.
Interestingly, Sophie has been a Coldplay fan for years. She once shared that her ex-husband, Joe Jonas, had arranged a special birthday video message from Chris Martin for her — something she was thrilled about at the time. Now, with Martin spending time in London for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour at Wembley, it seems fate may have brought them together.
Meanwhile, Sophie’s ex Perry Pearson also appears to have moved on. He was recently spotted in West London with a blonde woman who, according to onlookers, looked quite a bit like Sophie.
Sophie, who shares two daughters with Joe Jonas, finalised her divorce in September 2024. Chris, who was previously married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has two children — Apple and Moses.
So far, neither Sophie nor Chris has spoken about the rumours.
Meanwhile, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson were in India for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour in January 2025, which included performances in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Their visit to Mumbai was marked by public appearances, temple visits, and interactions with fans. Coldplay performed in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025, at the DY Patil Stadium, and in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26, 2025, at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Johnson accompanied Martin to the concerts and also explored the city, visiting sites like the Babulnath Temple and walking hand-in-hand with Martin at Marine Drive.
