Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday offered prayers at the sacred Arulmigu Aranganatha Swamy Temple in Srirangam and Arulmigu Jambukeswarar Temple in Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvanai Kovil, Tiruchirappalli.
Shah also joined the vibrant Pongal celebrations in Tiruchirappalli.
Taking to X, Shah wrote, “Offered prayers at the Arulmigu Jambukeswarar and Arulmigu Aranganatha Swamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. These ancient temples are living embodiments of India’s glorious cultural heritage and grand architecture. Fortunate to have prayed here.”

The Union minister also said that he was glad that he joined the vibrant Pongal celebrations in Tiruchirappalli. “This is a sacred festival that revives our deep bond with nature and our communities through gratitude and harmony. May it usher in the blessings of abundance, happiness, and good health for all,” he added.

Extending his festive greetings, the Home Minister expressed hope that Pongal would usher in abundance, happiness and good health for all.
