Google’s AI hub announcement comes amidst the amplifying race among big tech giants to grab the largest pie in the hot field. Earlier, US-based AI companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic announced its expansion outside the US by setting up offices in India in the coming months.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that OpenAI is scouting local partners in India to set up a data centre with at least 1-gigawatt capacity as part of its stargate expansion. OpenAI registered as a legal entity in India and has begun building its local team by opening the various positions.
