Gujarat Titans edged out Delhi Capitals by a dramatic one run in a last-ball thriller in their IPL 2026 clash in Delhi on Wednesday, despite a sensational knock from KL Rahul.
Chasing 211, DC needed just
two runs off the final two balls. But a costly lapse from David Miller proved decisive.
The South African turned down a single off the penultimate delivery from Prasidh Krishna and then failed to connect off the final ball, sealing a heartbreaking loss.
Earlier, Shubman Gill led from the front with a fluent 70 off 45 balls, while Jos Buttler smashed 52 off 27 and Washington Sundar added a brisk 55 to power GT to 210/4.
For DC, Mukesh Kumar (2/55) and Lungi Ngidi (1/24) were the standout bowlers.
In reply, Rahul anchored the chase with a superb 92 off 52 balls, sharing a 76-run opening stand with Pathum Nissanka (41). However, wickets at regular intervals stalled momentum before Miller’s late 41* brought DC close.
Rashid Khan starred with the ball, picking up 3/17 to guide GT to a nail-biting win.
