India’s street food scene offers a delightful variety, and pav bhaji is one of them. Staple to Mumbai, this snack has found a preference across the country and beyond, charming even foreigners with its
delectable taste. When the soft, buttery and baked pav meets the spice-infused, mashed vegetable mix, your tummy inadvertently does a happy dance. And a squeeze of lemon is all it takes to elevate the flavours up a notch.
However, there’s a problem in savouring the lip-smacking dish as pointed out by a digital creator, quite aptly. In a video, now going viral on Instagram, the man has called out the “infinite loop” that pav bhaji puts you in while enjoying the snack.
Man Jokes About Pav Bhaji ‘Glitch’
The man joked about how difficult it was to achieve the perfect pav-to-bhaji ratio. In most cases, generous scoops of bhaji remain on the bowl after you have finished eating the pavs. So that the bhaji does not go to waste, you order some more pavs. But guess what? This time, the curry is finished while the pavs stare back at you from the plate. The creator demonstrated this endless cycle by showing his own plate, featuring the leftover vegetable curry but zero pavs. He playfully called the phenomenon a “pav bhaji glitch in the matrix”.
“Yeh infinity tak chalta hi rehta hai. Bohot hi ajeeb sa loop hai. Glitch in the matrix hai yeh (This keeps running on infinity. It is a really strange loop. This is a glitch in the matrix),” said the creator.
The Post Struck A Chord With The Internet
“Even Misal Pav faces the same problem,” noted a user. “Pulao manga lo bhai pau ke jagh pe. (Order pulao instead of pav, brother). Simple, bro,” recommended another. “Mera roz ka struggle hai yeh (This is my everyday problem),” agreed a pav bhaji lover.
“Starting main 3-4 chamach khalo to fir barabar hojaeyha and loop bhi tut jaega (Start by eating 3–4 spoonfuls properly, then it will balance out and the loop will also break),” suggested an individual. “Ghar se ek roti le jaya karo (Bring roti from home),” advised one person.
The pav bhaji struggle is real. Agreed?
